A neighbourhood school, since 1988
We opened with a handful of classrooms on Main Meerut Road. Nearly four decades later, we are still here, still teaching the same families.
Our journey
New Tagore Senior Secondary School was established in 1988 by our Chairman, Mr. Suresh Kumar Sharma, and began its journey in a small rented space in the village. With hard work, dedication and a strong vision for quality education, the school continued to grow and progress.
Today it stands as a trusted institution committed to academic excellence, values and the holistic development of every child. From a humble beginning to a promising future — our journey continues.
The school exists to give the children of Khewra, Bahalgarh and the villages around them a full school education close to home, without a long or expensive journey into Sonipat city.
The school is co-educational and privately managed, teaching in English and Hindi under the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH). Children can join us in the pre-primary section and continue right through to their Class 12 board examinations, choosing between the Science (Medical and Non-Medical), Commerce and Humanities streams.
