Visit or call the school office
Come to the campus on any working day, or call us. We will tell you straight away whether there is a seat in the class you need.

Collect and fill the admission form
The form is available at the school office. Bring the completed form back with the documents listed below.

Interaction with the child
A short, friendly conversation — and for higher classes, a basic assessment to place the child correctly. Nothing to be nervous about.

Confirm the seat
Once the form is accepted, pay the admission fee at the office and collect your receipt. The child can usually start within a few days.
Documents required
- Birth certificate of the child
- Transfer Certificate (TC) from the previous school, for Class 2 and above
- Report card / mark sheet of the last class passed
- Aadhaar card of the child
- Aadhaar card of the parent or guardian
- Four passport-size photographs of the child
- Caste certificate, if applicable
Bring the originals for verification along with one photocopy of each.

Are admissions open for the 2026–27 session?
Yes. Seats are available across classes for the 2026–27 session. Availability in a particular class changes through the year, so please call the school office to confirm before you visit.
Which board is the school affiliated to?
New Tagore Senior Secondary School is affiliated to the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH). Teaching is in Hindi.
Which classes does the school teach?
The school teaches from the pre-primary section through to Class 12. Arts, Commerce and Science streams are all offered in Classes 11 and 12, so students do not need to change schools after Class 10.
Is there an entrance examination?
There is no formal entrance examination. Younger children have a short, friendly interaction. For higher classes there is a basic assessment, used only to place the child in the right class.
What documents are needed for admission?
A birth certificate, the Transfer Certificate from the previous school (for Class 2 and above), the last report card, Aadhaar cards of the child and parent, and four passport-size photographs. Bring originals for verification with one photocopy of each.
Does the school provide transport?
Yes. School buses run pick-up and drop services on fixed routes covering Khewra, Bahalgarh and the surrounding villages, with a staff member on board. Charges depend on the route — ask at the office for the rate to your village.
